Itinerary
Day 1 / BUCHAREST ARRIVAL - ZARNESTI
Meet the driver at the airport in Bucharest and transfer to Zarnesti, the gateway to Piatra Craiului National Park. Overnight at 3* GUESTHOUSE IN ZARNESTI.

Day 2 / HIKING IN PIATRA CRAIULUI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will begin visit the Piatra Craiului National Park for an easy hike in the Gorges of Zarnesti where you can you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Bucegi Mountains. On the way you can spot different species of birds, including Alpine Swifts, Crag Martins and the Western Capercaillie. There is also the option to continue the hike to the Curmatura Cabin (medium-hard difficulty). If the sky is clear you can see the 25 km long limestone ridge which is also a natural reserve due to the rare species of endemic flora and fauna. In the afternoon enjoy some leisure time.

Day 3 / BIRDWATCHING IN BARSA VALLEY
After breakfast you will begin walking to Coltul Chiliilor, the oldest religious establishment in the Zarnesti region. Here you can also find the Coltul Chiliilor cave, used in the past to shelter locals during the Turkish invasions in the fifteenth century. On the way you will find different species of birds and even wildlife. Some of the species with high chances of spotting are the white-winged snowfinch, bearded vulture, blue rock thrush, black grouse, golden eagle, Eurasian eagle-owl and the willow tit. The guide will also explain some of the local traditions as well as the impact of technology on traditional practices. Overnight at 3* GUESTHOUSE IN ZARNESTI.

Day 4 / ZAZRNESTI – DANUBE DELTA
After breakfast you will leave the mountain area and head towards the Danube Delta. In the afternoon you will arrive in Tulcea, board the floating hotel and have dinner.

Day 5 - 7 / DANUBE DELTA
You will spend these three days exploring the untouched channels and fisherman’s villages and of course see a multitude of bird species. There are over 320 bird species in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and some of the most popular include the grey heron, great reed warbler, common loon, white-tailed eagle, saker falcon, owl, the common shelduck, woodpecker, great tit and sparrow. Also here you can find the largest mixt bird colony in Europe which includes the great white pelican, the Dalmatian pelican and the great cormorant. Overnight aboard a 4* FLOATING HOTEL.

Day 8 / MACIN MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will depart from the Danube Delta and visit the Macin Mountain National Park. This is the only area in the European Union where the steppe ecosystems combine with sub-Mediterranean and Balkan forests. In the Macin Mountains National Park there are over 3400 species of flora and fauna and visitors are greeted with amazing natural landscapes. Some of the species that you can spot here are the Long-legged Buzzard, Isabelline Wheatear, Rock Thrush, Ortolan Bunting, Corn Bunting and Hoopoe. At the end of the tour you will be transferred in Parches for accommodation and dinner. Overnight aboard a 4* FLOATING HOTE.

Day 9 / BIRDWATCHING IN DOBROGEA REGION
After breakfast you will travel south towards Babadag Forest Nature Reserve. At this site you have high chances of spotting the stone-curlew, tree pipit, calandra lark and other passerines and woodpeckers. Then you will pass through the Sinoe-Razelm wetland, a series of shallow, brackish lakes, which are extremely rich in birds. The lunch stop will be at Histria, the oldest attested city in Romania. Here you can spot many passerines and if you are lucky, the difficult to find Paddyfield Warbler. You will also visit the ancient Greek-Roman port of Histria before returning to the. Overnight aboard a 4* FLOATING HOTEL.

Day 10 / DANUBE DELTA - DEPARTURE FROM BUCHAREST
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport in Bucharest.

Observations
- The prices are valid for 2019, except legal holidays in Romania, when additional costs may apply;
- We will supply you with all the required company details, including the SWIFT code, in order to safely proceed with the payment;
- Payment will be made in Euros, to the provided bank account;
- In case of payment by credit card, the bank will perceive an extra comission of 1.6%, of the full value of the transaction;
Reservation
- The payment will be made, as follows:
- For the ground services, an advance payment of 30% of the full value of the package, will be made at the moment of the reservation;
- The other 70% of the full value of the package, will be paid the latest, one month before the beginning of the services and the exact dates for the payment will be set through annexes to the contract;
- For service confirmations received 30 days before they commence, full prepayment will be made at the moment of the confirmation;
- If the client wishes to include also the flights in the present package, the price for the flights, will be paid in full, at the moment of their reservation;
- Airline companies can modify the flight’s schedule or status, according to their internal organization, without any prior notice to the travel agency. TRIPTAILOR cannot be made liable for any changes in the schedule of the booked flight, which falls completely in the responsibility of the airline company.
