Itinerary
Day 1 / BUCHAREST ARRIVAL
Meet your guide at the airport in Bucharest and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy some leisure time at the hotel and dinner on your own, for which we have a very nice recommendation: Caru cu Bere, the oldest surviving restaurant in Bucharest, which offers also different shows each night. Overnight at CONCORDE OLD BUCHAREST 4*.

Day 2 / BUCHAREST - BRASOV
After breakfast you will leave the capital city and drive to one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, the medieval city of Brasov. On the way you will make two stops to visit the fortified churches of Prejmer and Harman. Both of them date back to the twelve century and are UNESCO World Heritage sites. You will then continue to Brasov for accommodation and then you have the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at BELLA MUZICA HOTEL 3*.

Day 3 / BRASOV - VISCRI
After breakfast you will begin a guided walking tour of Brasov’s historical center. Bordered by the South Carpathian peaks and adorned with Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical monuments, Brasov is one of the most visited and loved cities in Romania. After the tour you will be transferred to Viscri, a small typical Saxon village that came into the spotlight after Prince Charles bought an estate there. The main attraction in Viscri is the fortified church, considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Transylvania. On arrival you will visit the village and some local artisans and learn more about the local culture and traditions. Overnight at VISCRI 125 GUESTHOUSE.

Day 4 / VISCRI – SIGHISOARA – BIERTAN - SIGHISOARA
After breakfast you will be transferred to Sighisoara. On the way you will make a stop to visit the Saschiz Fortified Church, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will then continue to Sighisoara, where you will stop for a guided tour of the medieval citadel. Built by the Saxons in the twelfth century, Sighisoara is the last medieval citadel in Europe which was continuously inhabited from medieval times to present. In the afternoon you will visit the nearby Biertan Fortified Church. Here you will learn about an interesting method of preventing divorce: a prison for couples, where they were forced to live together in a tight space for a limited time, sharing only one bed, one chair, one spoon and one plate. Using this method only one divorce happened here in 300 years. In the eavning you will return to Sighisoara for accommodation. Overnight at CAVALER HOTEL 4*.

Day 5 / SIGHISOARA – TRANSFER TO BUCOVINA REGION
After breakfast you will leave the Transylvania region and transfer to Bucovina region (about 6 hours). This part of Romania is renowned worldwide for the spectacular painted monasteries included in the UNESCO World Heritage. On arrival you will visit the beautifully conserved Voronet Monastery and then drive to the nearby village Gura Humorului for accommodation. Overnight at VILA BOEM 4*.

Day 6 / THE PAINTED MONASTERIES OF BUCOVINA
You will spend this day visiting 3 awe inspiring painted monasteries: Humor, Sucevita, Moldovita. All of them have remarkable exterior frescoes and are built in a time period spanning between the late fifteenth century and mid sixteenth century. Although of Byzantine inspiration, the paintings on the inner and outer walls are authentic and present different scenes from the Bible and the Holy Scriptures. Overnight at VILA BOEM 4*.

Day 7 / BUCOVINA REGION - TRANSFER TO MARAMURES REGION
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Maramures region of Romania (about 5 hours). If the Bucovina region is famous for its painted monasteries, the Maramures region is famous for the spectacular wooden churches. On the way you will visit a local artisan’s house in Sarbi village. After the visit you will be transferred to the nearby village of Desesti for accomodation. Overnight at CRINUL ALB 3* GUESTHOUSE.

Day 8 / THE WOODEN CHURCHES OF MARAMURES
You will spend this day visiting the beautiful wooden churches od Barsana, Desesti and Budesti. All of this sites are remarkable examples of well-preserved Orthodox architecture with Orthodox and Gothic influences and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Overnight at CRINUL ALB 3* GUESTHOUSE.

Day 9 / DESESTI – SIGHETU MARMATIEI
After breakfast you will be transferred to Sighetu Marmatiei where you have the option to visit the Memorial of the Victims of Communism, which offers an interesting insight into the horrors faced by the prisoners during the communist era in Romania. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at GRADINA MORII HOTEL 3*.

Day 10 / SIGHETU MARMATIEI – DEPARTURE FROM CLUJ
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport in Cluj.

Observations
- The prices are valid for 2019, except legal holidays in Romania, when additional costs may apply;
- We will supply you with all the required company details, including the SWIFT code, in order to safely proceed with the payment;
- Payment will be made in Euros, to the provided bank account;
- In case of payment by credit card, the bank will perceive an extra comission of 1.6%, of the full value of the transaction;
Reservation
- The payment will be made, as follows:
- For the ground services, an advance payment of 30% of the full value of the package, will be made at the moment of the reservation;
- The other 70% of the full value of the package, will be paid the latest, one month before the beginning of the services and the exact dates for the payment will be set through annexes to the contract;
- For service confirmations received 30 days before they commence, full prepayment will be made at the moment of the confirmation;
- If the client wishes to include also the flights in the present package, the price for the flights, will be paid in full, at the moment of their reservation;
- Airline companies can modify the flight’s schedule or status, according to their internal organization, without any prior notice to the travel agency. TRIPTAILOR cannot be made liable for any changes in the schedule of the booked flight, which falls completely in the responsibility of the airline company.
