Itinerary
Day 1 / SIBIU ARRIVAL - RASINARI
Meet the driver at the airport in Sibiu and transfer to Rasinari, a beautiful traditional village located about 8 km from the town of Sibiu. Overnight at ALPIN GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 2 / RASINARI – SIBIEL – FANTANELE – RASINARI
After breakfast you will visit the Orthodox Episcopal Church in Rasinari. The edifice dates back to the nineteenth century and it seem that the baroque style architecture was inspired by the Roman Catholic Church in the center of Sibiu. The exterior paintings, although affected by weather, has preserved its beauty and uniqueness. After the visit you will drive to Sibiel, where you will start the hike to Fantenele Cabin, in the Cindrel Mountains. On the way back to Rasinari you will stop for dinner in the village of Sibiel, where you will also visit the Museum of Icons on Glass. Overnight at ALPIN GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 3 / RASINARI – MAGURA – CISNADIOARA – RASINARI
After breakfast you will begin the hike to Magura Peak (1304 meters above sea level). From here you can admire the beautiful Cindrel Mountain range and an amazing view of the Transylvania region. You will then continue to Cisnadioara Saxon village, where you will visit the fortified church that dates back to the thirteenth century. After a traditional dinner with a local family you will return to Rasinari. Overnight at ALPIN GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 4 / RASINARI – PALTINIS - RASINARI
Early morning, after breakfast you will take the bus to Paltinis. From here you will begin your hike in the Cindrel Mountains, passing through Oncesti, Tomnaticu and the Wolf Glade. After a short break for a picnic lunch you will return to Rasinari. Overnight at ALPIN GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 5 / RASINARI – SIBIU - RASINARI
After breakfast you will drive to Sibiu for a guided walking city tour. After the tour you will have free time to explore the old city center, shop, take photos or relax in one of the many cafes in the area. In the afternoon you will drive back to Rasinari, where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight at ALPIN GUESTHOUSE 3*.

Day 6 / RASINARI – BALEA LAKE – SIGHISOARA – BIERTAN
Early morning you will depart the village of Rasinari and drive to Balea Lake, located on of one of Europe’s most beautiful roads, the Transfagarasan Highway. Here you will have the chance to hike the mountains surrounding the
lake and admire the breathtaking scenery. After a picnic lunch you will continue the drive to Sighisoara, where you will visit the only inhabited medieval citadel in Europe. After a walking tour and a visit to the History Museum you then continue to today’s final destination, Biertan. Overnight at UNGLERUS GUESTHOUSE 4*.

Day 7 / BIERTAN
After breakfast you will visit the beautifully conserved Biertan Fortified Church. Here you will learn about an interesting method of preventing divorce: a prison for couples, where they were forced to live together in a tight space for a limited time, sharing only one bed, one chair, one spoon and one plate. Using this method only one divorce happened here in 300 years. After the visit you will start a hike in the hills surrounding the Biertan village. After a picnic lunch you will visit some other fortified churches and then return to the hotel. Overnight at UNGLERUS GUESTHOUSE 4*.

Day 8 / BIERTAN – DEPARTURE FROM SIBIU
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport in Sibiu.

Observations
- The prices are valid for 2019, except legal holidays in Romania, when additional costs may apply;
- We will supply you with all the required company details, including the SWIFT code, in order to safely proceed with the payment;
- Payment will be made in Euros, to the provided bank account;
- In case of payment by credit card, the bank will perceive an extra comission of 1.6%, of the full value of the transaction;
Reservation
- The payment will be made, as follows:
- For the ground services, an advance payment of 30% of the full value of the package, will be made at the moment of the reservation;
- The other 70% of the full value of the package, will be paid the latest, one month before the beginning of the services and the exact dates for the payment will be set through annexes to the contract;
- For service confirmations received 30 days before they commence, full prepayment will be made at the moment of the confirmation;
- If the client wishes to include also the flights in the present package, the price for the flights, will be paid in full, at the moment of their reservation;
- Airline companies can modify the flight’s schedule or status, according to their internal organization, without any prior notice to the travel agency. TRIPTAILOR cannot be made liable for any changes in the schedule of the booked flight, which falls completely in the responsibility of the airline company.
